TRAFFIC PSYCHOLOGY - Applying psychology on and off the road

Traffic psychology is concerned with applying psychological knowledge and methods to road safety, the behaviour of road users, and problems that people may have with making the best use of the road system.

This web site includes information for crash victims and their families and friends, people with anxiety problems, the parents of new drivers, and organisations interested in the safety of their staff.

The web site also includes a resource for learner drivers and their parents - the Learner Driver Site, some relevant publications concerning a range of road safety issues, and a news and opinion site that summarises current research and developments in road safety.

These resources are all free and can be reached using the links on the right.

The material presented here is managed by Warren Harrison - an Australian psychologist and researcher with almost 20 years experience in road safety research and project management.  Information about him can be found on the "About EPS" link.
