ABOUT EASTERN PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Eastern Professional Services was originally registered to provide research and consulting services in the social behavioural sciences. It evolved and has been providing services in in road safety, driver behaviour, communications and writing in a range of areas, and educational and forensic psychology.  It has been in business for over 15 years, and became a private company in 2001.

Services in the behavioural sciences are provided by Warren Harrison. Warren is a social and behavioural scientist with almost 20 years of experience in commercial, government, and academic research, and over 8 years of experience in educational settings and in private practice.  His focus is on the broader application of psychology to a range of problems.  He has Masters-level training in educational psychology and in forensic psychology and criminology. He is a registered Psychologist, a Member of the Australian Psychological Society, a member of the International Council on Alcohol, Drugs, and Traffic Safety, a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Law, and an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Road Safety. EPS Freelance Writer and Editor, Sharon Harrison, has over 15 years' experience in marketing and desktop publishing, with a major focus on written communications. She has extensive experience in writing, researching, interviewing, editing and proof reading, as well as layout, design and production of print and online/electronic materials. She is an Associate Member of the Australian Marketing Institute, has a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Journalism and Literary Studies, and is currently completing a Masters degree in professional communication.

Over the last eight years Sharon has regularly contributed feature articles to industry magazines in the printing, packaging, and signage sectors, including 'OnDemand' (and as associate editor between March 2005 and April 2009), 'Image', 'Asia Pacific Packaging', 'Proprint', and 'Australasian Flexo', She has also completed several editing projects for Victorian government road safety organisations, including the VicRoads Learner Kit and associated Graduated Licensing System materials.
