ROAD SAFETY

Road safety is an important area of public health research and activity in all motorised countries.  With the annual worldwide road toll around 1,000,000 deaths and many more serious injuries, road crashes are an important contributor to early deaths and serious injuries and health problems.

Most Australian jurisdictions have a strong record of implementing sound, evidence-based road safety programs and, as a result, have made strong gains in reducing deaths and injuries - but there is still a long way to go.

Eastern Professional Services Pty Ltd has contributed to research and program development and implementation, and the information on the traffic psychology part of the web site reflects that contribution.

Eastern Professional Services has policies concerning an ethical approach to its work and intellectual property. They can be found here.
